Special Fall Rules

Starting August 28, 2026, all teams will transition to their 2027 age group (rising age).

  • Example: If your team played as 9U this past spring, you will now be classified as 10U (rising 10U).
  • Rising 11U will have their choice of 46/60 or 50/70 (most teams do 50/70).
  • Rising 12U teams will play on 50/70 fields, while Rising 13U teams will move to 60/90 fields.

Rising 8s (Fall 2026) – League Only

  • Will follow 7U rules. Reason: Most teams aren't fully ready for player pitch yet.
  • Note: Stronger teams that want full player pitch should play up in Rising 9s and adjust their rating accordingly.

Rising 9s (Fall 2026) – League Only

  • American Level Divisions will follow 9U rules.
  • All other Rising 9s divisions will follow 8U rules.

Sportsmanship Rules

Ejections: Coaches, players, and spectators arguing with or heckling umpires will result in immediate ejection and up to a 4-game suspension for a first offense, 1 year for 2nd offense, and a lifetime for 3rd offense. Any ejection from a 7u or 8u game will likely result in an immediate lifetime ban.

Gameplay will not resume until the offending person(s) leave the field. If they refuse to leave, the game will end in a forfeit. Coaches and players over 16 must leave sight and sound of the field. Players under 16 can remain silently on the bench.

Heckling pitchers or batters is not permitted — no chanting, fence shaking, or loud outbursts when the pitcher is in their windup. Umpires may warn, then eject, those involved along with the head coach.

  • No arguing balls/strikes under any circumstance.
  • Coaches are responsible for their teams' parents and may be ejected for a parent's actions.
  • No one should be allowed to watch from behind the backstop behind the catcher.
  • Ejections for extreme behavior may result in a lifetime ban from USABL.
  • Code of Conduct

  • All 60/90 games will be 7 innings long.
